Phil Kemp

 

Phil is one of two local Councillors to serve on all three local Councils; Skegness Town Council, East Lindsey District Council and Lincolnshire County Council.

Phil is a Town Councillor representing St Clements Ward, serving on the following: Full Council, Management Committee (Vice Chairman),  Best Value (Chairman), Burial Ground Steering Group, Civic Duties, ELDC/STC Liaison Working Group, Foreshore Negotiations Working Group, Honours Working Group, Publicity, Grants review (Vice Chairman),  Working & Appraisal Panel and Honours Working Group (Chairman). Phil is a substitute member on the Southern Foreshore Partnership working Group. Phil is a previous Mayor of Skegness (2006/7).

Phil is also the Town Council Website Champion.

 

Phil is a District Councillor in St Clements Ward, serving on Full Council, Skegness Area Committee, White Paper Working Group, Planning, Planning Policy, Environmental Sustainability Working Group and Licensing. Phil is also Deputy Labour Group Leader at East Lindsey and East Lindsey Labour Group Secretary.

 

Phil is also a County Councillor representing Skegness South, serving on the following Committees: Planning & Regulation, Community Safety Policy Development Group, and Communities Scrutiny Panel. Phil is also currently part of a Task & Finish Group working on Vulnerability of people living on the coast.

Phil is a Town Council representative on Skegness Community Action Group and Lincs Town Links, a County Council representative on Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve Joint Advisory Committee and St Clements College Sports Centre Joint Management Committee (Chairman). Phil is also a Tree Warden in the town.

 

Outside of all this, Phil is Treasurer of Skegness Beach Angling Club, Vice Chairman of Friends of Church Farm Museum, a School Governor at Skegness Infants School, a member of Skegness Civic Society,  a member of Skegness Hospital Watch and founder and Chairman of Richmond Area Residents Association.
