Steve is a Town Councillor and represents Scarbrough Ward.

He serves on Full Council, Burial Ground Steering Group, Party in the Park Working Group, Southern Foreshore Partnership Working Group, Working & Appraisal Panel, Grants Committee, ELDC/STC Liaison Group and Management Committee (Chairman).

Steve is also a Town Council representative on Skegness Civic Society (Chairman) and Extreme Sports Association.
