Skegness Labour Party
East Lindsey Conservative Councillors recently voted to turn off the Jolly Fisherman fountain in Skegness between the hours of midnight and 9am.
Your Labour Councillors opposed this decision and will be fighting hard to change this. We believe the decision was poorly thought out, just as a cost cutting measure and did not full take into account any problems this may cause. We do not know if they even carried out a proper risk assessment as they should have done and looked into the implications it may have on their insurance.
This is was discussed in open session at the Skegness Town Council meeting on 31st March and was supported by everyone there apart from the Conservatives.
